MSUF fosters self-reliance through targeted initiatives, creating a ripple effect of positive change across Serere District.
Three core programs with targeted projects — empowering families in Serere District to build sustainable livelihoods, not dependency.

Our core agriculture program empowers families through multiple projects: a chicken rearing program for single mothers and widows, soya farming for nutrition, female farmer cooperatives, goat rearing, and regenerative closed-loop farming where livestock manure feeds crops and crop waste feeds animals.

Supporting community schools in Serere District with examination fees, teaching manpower, scholastic materials, and infrastructure. We also run vocational skills training including bakery, animal husbandry, and farming techniques over guided 6-month cycles.

We identify the most vulnerable families — single mothers, widows, elderly with grandchildren — through a structured community assessment questionnaire. We equip them with skills and resources to become self-sufficient, while also working to establish reliable water access, hygiene education, nutrition support, and health outreach across Serere District.
Everything connects. Chickens feed families, manure feeds crops, crops generate revenue, and revenue funds the next family's program. This is empowerment — not charity.
Mission Save Uganda Foundation was established with a clear vision: to empower vulnerable families through self-sustaining programs — not handouts. We identify single mothers, widows, elderly caregivers, and hard-to-reach families in Kamodo Village and Serere District, and equip them with the skills and resources to generate their own income.
"We don't just do work — we do work with impact. Even if it's minimal, it must scale. We want people to go from zero to hero."
Registered as an NGO in February 2026, MSUF's objectives have expanded to include livestock empowerment, regenerative agriculture, community health, and education programs. We host international volunteers from Germany, Switzerland, and the USA, and are currently constructing our permanent headquarters in Serere District — a compound that will serve as our office, volunteer housing, and training center.
MSUF's roots go back to addressing the education crisis in Kamodo Village, where there is hardly any school and children walk over 10 miles to reach the nearest one in Soroti District. Many families earning less than a dollar a day cannot afford school fees — and those who can still face impossible journeys. Our expanded vision now tackles this through multiple pathways: livestock empowerment, regenerative agriculture, health, and education — because a self-sufficient family can send their children to school.
